What is the course all about? In this course you will learn how I've built a profitable Amazon affiliate store that works and functions as an awesome eCommerce site. What should I expect to achieve after completing this course? Your #1 goal should be to have built a profitable Amazon affiliate store that allows you to expand beyond being just an affiliate. You will have the choice of offering physical products to your buyers. What will you learn in this course? Getting started with focus and mindset while organizing and planning tasks Setting up your eCommerce website the right way Picking a niche and doing keyword research for that niche How to design your site and pick a theme Maximizing conversions to get more buyers Basic overview of eCommerce SEO Promoting your eCommerce site with Social Media Using free and paid advertising to promote your site Outsourcing Virtual Assistants to help you build your site faster Learning the basics of Email marketing for eCommerce Moving beyond Amazon Affiliates - Selling on Amazon & eBay Working with Dropshippers and buying products Wholesale How long is the course? This course is split up into 6 weeks, each week you are provided with homework so you have tasks to complete after watching the modules and reading through the content. It may take longer than 6 weeks to complete the entire program, the course is designed to allow you to create a part time or even full time eCommerce store if you choose to do so. Most of the advice I provide allows you to make sales without a ton of commitment when it comes to purchasing physical inventory. You can start slow and grow as you make progress through the course. Check out these awesome testimonials! "Found this just as I started work on an Amazon site. Really useful advice on how to set up shop. I'm implementing now and honestly, that alone will save me the next few days of my life at this point in my project. Thats worth the price of entry alone. But the course has a lot more to give: outsourcing tips, sensible approach to promotion. Also heaps of stuff on FBA and other things beyond Amazon affiliate that held no interest and I thought weren't really for me, but I can now see offer a lot of potential for growth of my store down the line. Great stuff. I also appreciate the straight up approach here. No typical marketers fluff, filler, hype or BS. Just laying out what seems solid advice and an action plan that will get you up and running in short order. You know the course is solid, as John walks through the set up of one of his sites, which is a cut above the usual robo-Azon affiliate spam site. Maybe the title shouldn't emphasis passive income so much, as its some work to get up and running. Even outsourcing leaves the hassle of managing workers, as we all know. It'd also be better if the intro gave some idea of the minimum kinds of investment of time and money you should expect to put in to get any result. Of course, you can keep it passive, but consumers are more savvy than they've ever been. So i'd suggest getting into this with a view to build out and up: in which case the the slog begins." - Paul Andrews "Start off gently as an as an Amazon Affiliate and then transition into your own eCommerce juggernaut. John will show you how it's done and demonstrate the software that makes it possible, easy and profitable." - Dr. Phillips "This course is way more than just about Amazon Affiliates. Anyone starting an online business will also benefit from this course there is so much information in here and very useful information. John does a great job keeping you engaged in what he has to say, he's very knowledgeable and shows proof that he knows his stuff! Thanks for a great course John." - S Howard "I've used Wordpress for years so when I saw this course focused on the WooCommerce plugin I decided to give it a shot. It really is a comprehensive course covering everything you need to know about starting your own Amazon affiliate store." - Glen Thonis "I'm very happy to have subscribed and this is a perfect course if you want to setup your own ecommerce store. John is an expert and his advises are very practical and easy to follow. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole course and i have already started implementing them into my own business." - Hussain Ahmed

After 5 years doing business online see what I use on https://jerrybanfield.com with Wordpress to create and host my website while making commissions from affiliate marketing! See my hosting plan using GoDaddy managed WordPress at http://jerry.tips/2h9E6al. View my domain registrar GoDaddy at http://jerry.tips/2h9EMfR. My WordPress theme is called Enfold at http://jerry.tips/1Tu7jN1. I was a customer at HostGator before with a dedicated server and would go back to them http://jerry.tips/2hkq9LF. If I had to switch, I would try managed WordPress hosting next with Bluehost at http://jerry.tips/2iog9gt because they are officially recommended by WordPress. While I designed my own website, if you need help hiring a freelancer on http://upwork.com might save you thousands of dollars versus finding a company to make a website for your business.
Jerry Banfield with EDUfyre In 2005 while I was in college at the University of South Carolina, I tried to start working online. I signed up for an MLM program and a survey website. A month later, I had refunds from both and figured working online was not possible because everything was a scam. The truth was I was afraid to fail again. In 2011, I moved in with my wife and launched an online business focusing on video game addiction in an attempt to avoid dealing with any of my other problems. In a few months, I changed my business to selling shirts because I realized there was no money in video game addiction. A year after starting my business, I dropped out of my criminology PHD program at the University of South Florida to run my business full time which by then had changed to helping clients with Facebook and Google ads based on my experience failing to do them successfully for myself. In 2013, I starting sharing everything I knew for free on YouTube because I hoped it would help me get more clients. By April 2014, I was nearly bankrupt after failing at 15+ different business models. I was also nearly dead from trying to drink the pain away and fortunately the fear of death motivated me to get into recovery. Being in recovery motivated me to focus more on being of true service to others and less on what I would get out of it. I started making courses online with Udemy which soon turned into my first real business. I partnered with as many talented instructors as I could and learned from top instructors how to get my courses the most sales. In 2015, I tried making some inspirational videos sharing what I learned in recovery and got an amazing response on YouTube. To make the background on my videos more interesting, I started making the inspirational videos while playing video games. To make a more helpful website, I hired a freelancer to convert the videos into blog posts including this about page originally.

Fact: over 30,000 websites are hacked everyday. Fact: cybercrime costs the global economy over $450 billion. Fact: over 1.5 million WordPress sites were hacked in a single day this year due to a single vulnerability. Don’t think website security isn’t important. Cyber-criminals are out there using sophisticated software to scan the internet for any type of vulnerable website. Hackers don’t care if your website is big, small, a non-profit, or profit making. A hacked website is worth money to them as they can either extort money from a website owner, or place links or code on the site to support some other type of criminal activity. Online security is of paramount importance to every human being on this planet. This course is for everybody. There is very little use of technical terminology or advanced online procedures. Anyone with basic computer skills can protect any WordPress website by following this course. The course starts with the two biggest causes of hacks on websites and shows you the simple and non-technical ways to protect yourself. The two biggest causes of hacks on WordPress websites are: easily guessed or stolen usernames and password out of date software I show how to use secure and unguessable passwords that are different on every site. I continue to explain how to ensure all the software that’s used to run your site, not only the WordPress software, is not only up-to-date but kept up-to-date. We also cover home directory and webroot hygiene as well as disabling directory listing and error reporting. I then show how to set up and install the Wordfence Security plugin which will: protect a site with a cloud-based firewall scan your site everyday for known vulnerabilities and changes in the WordPress code block malicious IPs and requests and much more I demonstrate how to set up and schedule back-ups. So if anything goes wrong in the future you can restore your site back to an early copy. I then go on to explain step-by-step technical methods to really lock down a WordPress website. Don’t think that online security doesn't matter to you. Your online security is as important as your physical security. My name's Rob Cubbon and I have run a web and graphic design business for over a decade. I have built countless WordPress websites for myself and others. However, I have been hacked! This was a chastening experience. Not only was this attach to one of my websites extremely costly in terms of money and time, but I was also shocked at my ignorance of many website security procedures. Online security, website security, and WordPress security are now topics I take extremely seriously. I want to prevent other people from having a similarly terrible experience.
Rob Cubbon I have over 25 years experience in graphic design, web design and marketing. I have run my own business since 2005. I am an Amazon bestselling author of seven books, bestselling Udemy instructor and all-round good guy who wants success for you and your business. Being your own boss is an incredibly liberating experience but it can be difficult as well. There never seems to be enough time for what we want to do. I'm driven to help people experience the positive side of entrepreneurship, not the negative. I also build brands, create websites and run marketing campaigns for my clients. My mission statement: I want to help and inspire people to build sustainable online businesses, earn passive income and experience greater freedom and happiness in their lives.

WordPress: Beginner Website Creation & Web Design, No Coding

Instructor: Rob Cubbon

OverviewDescriptionAbout
Learn how to use the software the powers over 20% of the world's websites. Create your own self-hosted website easily. WordPress is the software behind nearly a quarter of the world's websites! With WordPress you can build a site in five minutes with no prior experience and WordPress can be scaled to power some of the biggest websites in the world.
WordPress is the software behind nearly a quarter of the world's websites! With WordPress you can build a site in five minutes with no prior experience and WordPress can be scaled to power some of the biggest websites in the world. WordPress is the most successful content management system for websites out there today. That’s an amazing number of people who use it. So it’s an important software to get to know. This course starts at a basic level. I go through the administration section and the links on the left hand side in WordPress's back end. Then I create a WordPress website in front of your eyes. You can create your first website with me! You will learn about: the WordPress hosting environment how to install WordPress on a host how to create Pages and Posts (and the differences between them) how to create a menu formatting and adding images the right way changing the theme and the logo (and how to outsource log design jobs to freelancers) complete customization of the home page, the other pages' layouts and the website My story: Over ten years ago I was doing very menial typesetting work in a London office. A colleague who knew I’d been struggling to create web pages with static HTML suggested that I use WordPress on my new website. So I did. That one piece of advice from a guy in 2005 set me on a path. I've been using WordPress and blogging on my site ever since. I have also designed and created countless other WordPress websites for clients through my web design business. I started my own business in 2006, left work two years later and now I run a six-figure location-independent business from various places around the world. With WordPress, you can not only to build websites but you can build businesses! Literally tens of thousands – or probably hundreds of thousands – of viable businesses exist because of WordPress. Developers sell plugins and themes for WordPress, designers use WordPress as a web design and development tool, and business people power their website with WordPress which is central to their marketing. WordPress can be used for just about any type of website. It is free and open source. WordPress is a great and simple tool with an incredibly supportive and helpful community around it. It's great way to get started online. A solid and sustainable website will help you build a solid and sustainable online business. WordPress is, quite simply, the most important online business skill of all.

Create A Custom Responsive WordPress Website For A Client

Create A Custom Responsive WordPress Website For A Client

Instructor: Rob Cubbon

OverviewDescriptionAbout
Build a responsive WordPress website that exactly matches client expectations Charge your clients much more money by creating a WordPress website exactly to their requirements. Create a custom responsive WordPress website for a client using the Genesis theme framework on the WordPress platform. WordPress provides you with a fairly well-optimised web system.
Charge your clients much more money by creating a WordPress website exactly to their requirements. Create a custom responsive WordPress website for a client using the Genesis theme framework on the WordPress platform. WordPress provides you with a fairly well-optimised web system. However, combining WordPress with the premium Genesis theme ($59.95) ensures an entirely future-proof, perfectly optimized and responsive web design with the latest CSS3 and HTML5 with Schema mark-up. The course shows you everything – from the basics to fairly advanced HTML and CSS tweaking of the child theme. After you have finished this course you will have learned how to: · Set up a WordPress website on a host's server (both the manual and "one-click" methods) · Create a custom "Under Construction" page to display during online development · Set up the logo and top navigation menu with drop-downs · Set up a blog on it's own separate page · Set up social media profile link widgets and understand widgets in general · Add content and images to the website's pages and the blog posts · Create and style up new sidebar widgets · Two ways of adding and editing an image slider with overlaid text · Use CSS media queries to ensure the site displays correctly on all browsers and all possible devices (phones, iPods, iPads, tablets, laptops, etc.) – completely understand responsive design · Create a contact page with a contact form · Create an email subscription list and sidebar form with incentive to join – the most important tactic of internet marketing · Display a "favicon" for your site for the browsers's address bars (as well as for iPod Touch, iPads and iPhones) · Display a higher resolution logo for retina screens · Plus much more! I would advise anyone taking this course to have the Genesis theme framework although it isn't 100% necessary. This course is ideal for anyone wishing to create a website for themselves or other businesses – for which you could charge $3000+. I have gone into everything in great detail so there's no need to worry if you have very little knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS and/or PHP. The course would be particularly useful for people who wish to run their own web design business as you would be able to charge four-figure fees for creating a bespoke website like this.

When it comes to WordPress security, there are a lot of things you can do to lock down your site to prevent hackers and vulnerabilities from affecting your e-commerce site or blog. The last thing you want to happen is to wake up one morning to discover your site in shambles.
Did you know that more than 73 million web sites in the world run on the WordPress publishing platform? This makes WordPress more popular than Microsoft SharePoint, Blogger, or Drupal. It also means that WordPress is a large target for hackers.

Half of the WordPress sites out there are self-hosted, which means that the WordPress administrator carries the lion's share of responsibility for a secure installation. Out of the box, there are several ways that WordPress security can be tightened down, but only a fraction of sites actually do so. This makes WordPress an even more popular target for hackers.
The strategies that you will learn in this course can help any WordPress installation become significantly more secure, and raise awareness of the types of vulnerabilities to defend against.
What you'll learn
  • Secure WordPress Websites
  • Scan their Wordpress Instance for vulnerabilities
  • Prevent Spam
  • Prevent Brute Force Attacks
  • Secure HTTP Headers
  • Configure 2factor Authentication
  • File Integrity Protection
  • Web Application Firewall Configuration
  • Block malicious IPs and attacks
  • Advanced Steps to Further Secure the Wordpress Instance

Create a Responsive Business Website with WordPress

Create a Responsive Business Website with WordPress

Instructor: Rob Cubbon

OverviewDescriptionAbout
Step by step WordPress! Easily design and develop a responsive business WordPress website for a client Charge your clients more money by being able to create a WordPress website exactly to their requirements.
Charge your clients more money by being able to create a WordPress website exactly to their requirements. This Responsive Website Design course will enable you to create a Responsive Website for a business using the Genesis theme framework on the WordPress platform. WordPress is the most ubiquitous CMS (Content Management System) on the internet today. It provides you with a fairly well-optimised web system. However, combining WordPress with the premium Genesis theme ensures an entirely future-proof, perfectly optimized and responsive web design. After you have finished the Responsive Website Design course you will have learned how to: · Layout a website visual in Photoshop and present it to your client · Install WordPress locally on your computer to ensure faster development · Set up a website using WordPress on a host's server · Upload a local site to a remote site · Create an "Under Construction" page to display during online development · Set up the logo and top navigation menu with drop-downs · Set up a blog on it's own separate page · Change the website's text, use different fonts and create beautiful web typography · Add content and images to the website's pages and the blog's posts · Create and style up new sidebar widgets · Add social media (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) profile links and icons · Create page templates · Add and style a jQuery slider · Use CSS media queries to ensure the responsive design of the site works correctly on all browsers and all possible devices (phones, iPods, iPads, tablets, laptops, etc.) · Design and layout a blog archive page with featured image thumbnails · Create a contact page with a contact form · Create an email subscription list and sidebar form with incentive to join · Display a "favicon" for your site for the browsers's address bars (as well as for iPod Touch, iPads and iPhones) · Plus much more! I would say that 35-45% of the course is Genesis-specific so I would advise anyone taking this course to have the Genesis theme framework (which is only $59.99). This Responsive Website Design course is ideal for anyone wishing to create a website. I have gone into everything in great detail so there's no need to worry if you have very little knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS and/or PHP. Similarly, if you are already a web designer this course will teach you How to Make a Responsive Website by digging into the theme's code to enable you to get a WordPress site looking and acting exactly how you want it to. The course would be particularly useful for people who wish to run their own web design business as you would be able to charge four-figure fees for creating a bespoke business website like this.
